Final Project update
My final project is going well. I have held 3 classes so far with approximately 5 females on average attendance. The classes themselves are progressing how I hoped they would. The women are really shocked that there are such simple moves can make a huge impact. We actually have had amazing conversations after class about women in society.
One of the things I have really struggled with is taking photos & Videos. In my first and 3rd class, I was the only instructor so I was constantly being active with them and answering questions so it was extremely hard to stop and take photos.
My last goal with this project is to do a class in public * speaking it into existence *. I really wanna hold one of my last classes in a public place such as a park. I have tried 2 weekends ago and 10 minutes into it... It began to pour. I will try again this weekend though!
As per my research, This is what motivated me to do a public class. I found a performance art piece that I will show in my final presentation that was so powerful to me and connected to my theme of seeing women under a different light. The people in the comments found it " stupid" and the world is going " insane" but I understood what they were doing and found it very moving.
