I have been struggling with the picking out a style for my posters. For the past couple of days, I have been experimenting with different layouts, typefaces, and color palettes. Yet, I haven't found a style that fits perfectly the message that I am trying to convey.
Here's an example of one of my experiments and also the original illustration. The first example is in Spanish because my posters will be target to Spanish-speaking communities, however I plan on also doing them in English for the purpose of the class and everybody understanding my message.
I have consulted by mentor, and she had suggested for me to mess around with the drawing itself and turning it into a darker depiction of the victim so the message of the poster is clearer; I am very hesitant about it but I will provide the imagery she suggested as inspiration so I can get your feedback.
