Update for project
Update: I finished
recording my video with the help of others. It took two sessions to record. The
first session is a general overview of the gym, the trainers, and the amount of
kids who joined. We were letting the kids know that we were going to host an exhibition
for the public so they can see how much the boxing program has grown up until
this point. I got to interview many people throughout the two sessions, and you
get the see the different outlooks of those individuals. Whether it’s a young
kid, a teenager or an adult I got to see different perspectives, which was one
of my goals while I was filming. The second session was mainly to see how the exhibition
turned out to be. While still interviewing you get to see my dad, trainers, and
other volunteers preaching about how important the youth is to us and without
them and the help of others the boxing program will not be running. The goal is
not for them to become a professional boxer but to use this tool for school, home,
themselves, and most importantly their future. We want them to become leaders
in this world and the first step into becoming a leader is having discipline because
without that you won’t be able to move ahead. Throughout the video you will see
all of us motivating the youth and the goal is to impact them so they can see
that all were trying to do is uplift them. Our job is to be the role models they
truly deserve.
